C. H. Robinson Complete Office Rebrand

C. H. Robinson is one of the world’s largest 3rd Party Logistics and Supply Chain Management companies. We were excited to assist them with the re-brand of their new premises including updating the reception area, meeting rooms, offices, and company vehicles. The brief was to start from the outside and work our way through to reception, meeting rooms, offices, and even company vehicles.

Powder-coated metal fabricated letters are ideal for external signs, where the elements are not your friend. They can also be illuminated with eco-friendly LED lights. This reception sign was laser cut in acrylic, 2pac painted with a gloss finish … it makes quite an impact on entering the office! Achieving privacy for your meeting rooms doesn’t necessarily have to be plain. In this case, we printed etch film and cut vinyl lines in a perfect circle to run down in the clear areas.

We think it perfectly captures the extensive reach C. H. Robinson has across the world. Logos printed white on 3M etch film continues the branding throughout the offices. Vision strips, are a safety requirement but can also make a statement. Vinyl graphics on either door of their new vehicles finished off the branding requirements. When a brand is recognized around the world, sometimes a simple logo is all you need.

Ivanhoe Grammar School Signage

Signs not only serve a purpose but more than ever have to comply with the aesthetic and vision of the various design houses that we deal with. In this case not only was it important that the signs were functional and attractive but sustainable, muted and matched with the raw materials used throughout the development.

The Process

Custom routed, these natural Sculptform oak battens were used for the level numbers. Clean & simple yet very visually effective, they matched perfectly with the concrete and timber slat walls. The same method was incorporated in the gym and pool areas to designate zones. Once again blending seamlessly with the materials used by the builders. This technique is also an excellent way to achieve large 3-meter-high numbers without the need for bulky frames or fabrication.

Springvale Freestanding Sign & Vertical Garden

Tiger Corp. was assigned the task to manufacture a large freestanding sign to act as a display and vertical garden. Each letter is to be 3 meters high, manufactured from bent galvanized pipe, and covered in wire to enable plants to grow up and over the top. A real statement piece for Springvale.

The Process

Under the watchful gaze of the Landscape Architects and as per our Engineer’s report each letter was crafted by hand. Carefully bent to shape and welded to achieve not only the look required but the strength needed to make the sign stand in place for years to come. Each letter was attached to the footings for installation, painted, and finally carefully wrapped in wire.

Installation

Failing to plan is planning to fail and our installers are the best in the business. With footings prepared, concrete poured and a crane at the ready each letter was carefully lifted into place and safely secured. The end was in sight and after months of discussions, meetings, plans, and site visit the architects’ vision had come to life.

The Final Result

Picture perfect in every way. Not even the architects and builders could believe the end result. We took their dream and made it a reality, on time, on budget.
